about

Through film, photography, and multi-sensory installation, Dorset-based transgender artist Danni Miles explores questions of human experience, safety, and intimacy. Her practice centres on the creation of immersive spaces that invite reflection and hold each audience member with care, drawing them into the narrative worlds she constructs. Deeply informed by seasonal cycles, her work unfolds over time, exploring themes of privacy, routine, tenderness, and poetry.

Miles graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London, in July 2024. Currently based in Poole, she designs and facilitates free creative workshops and runs a fortnightly community art club focused on connection and creative exploration.

In April 2025, Miles co-founded Swan Art Club, a grassroots community project providing a welcoming space for adults to engage in collective art-making, and has independently run it since Summer 2025. Since its inception, she has facilitated regular workshops for participants with a wide range of creative confidence, prioritising inclusivity, accessibility, and the use of art as a tool for connection and care.
